Procedural Guidelines  

  1. Initial review of new degrees will be accomplished by the Vice President for Academic Affairs. Secondary review of new degrees will be accomplished by the Curriculum Committee.  
  2. Following Curriculum Committee review, new degree proposals will be submitted to the appropriate Vice President for review and recommendation.  
  3. The appropriate Vice President shall confer with faculty who would be affected by the change.  
  4. The appropriate Vice President will confer with other Vice Presidents as needed, and forward new degree recommendations to the President for review and action.  
  5. The President will choose whether to forward recommended requests for new degrees to the Board of Trustees for final approval.
