yəhaw̓ Center for Student Empowerment

Pushing Forward together for student success

Welcome to the yəhaw̓ Center for Student Empowerment.

Our center is located on the first floor of the PUB (Bldg 9000) in Room 9114.

yəhaw̓ (yuh-HOW;🔊 How to Say): A Lushootseed word meaning To move forward together. It can only be done together.

Rooted in our namesake, we strive to help students move forward in their educational journey by providing 1 on 1 support, fostering leadership and community building for students, and championing cultural events on campus.

Center Mission

At the yəhaw̓ center for Student Empowerment (yCSE) we strive to support students on their academic and professional journeys, ensuring they find their way and that they find community at Shoreline.
