Welcome to Shoreline! We're so excited for you to join us soon. This space is here to help you understand your first steps and how to chart a course for a successful first term.

Ready to Set Sail?

Step 1: Welcome Letter from Shoreline 

After you've submitted your application to Shoreline you'll recieve a welcome letter email within a few business days. That will give you instructions to activate your ctcLink account and confirm your Residency.

Step 2: OCEANS Course

Click on the OCEANS bubble below to find out more. After completing the OCEANS course you'll be prepared for registration at Shoreline. Through the course you'll set up your necessary accounts, learn about math and English placement, entry advising, how to register, and more. You must review each module and complete your Intake Survey before you can register for your first classes.

Step 3: Entry Advising 

Schedule an Entry Advising appointment to connect with an Advisor and make a plan for your first quarter. Find out more on the Advising Homepage and call the Advising Center at 206-546-4599 when you are ready to schedule.

Step 4: Dolphin Day 

Join us for Dolphin Day, our New Student Welcome Event. Each quarter we host both on-campus and online Dolphin Day events. New students are invited to connect with other new students, learn about navigating student spaces, meet faculty and staff, and start exploring the resources available to you when you begin your classes.
