About This Service
Shoreline College may send text messages to prospective students, current students,
employees, and other members of the college community regarding college services and
activities. Messages may include, but are not limited to, information about admissions,
enrollment, registration, financial aid, student services, academic programs, campus
events, support resources, deadlines, account notifications, and other college-related
information.
Opting In
You are opting in to receive text messages by providing your mobile phone number and
consent through a Shoreline College form, application, registration process, or other
authorized communication method. Consent to receive text messages is voluntary and
is not required to apply for admission, enroll in classes, or receive college services.
Message Frequency
Message frequency will vary depending on your relationship with the College, your
communication preferences, and the services or programs in which you participate.
Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier and plan.
Opting Out
You may opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. After opting out, you will no longer receive SMS communications from
that messaging service unless you opt in again.

Information collected through SMS communications will be handled in accordance with
