Washington State Core Services Bill for students with disabilities,  

Washington Law Against Discrimination RCW 49.60 and RCW 28B.10.910, 912, 914; and SBCTC Policy on Access for Students with Disabilities, 3.20.30.  

Policy:   

The policy of the College is to ensure qualified students with disabilities are provided with equal opportunity to access the benefits, rights, and privileges of College services, programs, and activities provided in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, Americans with Disabilities Amendment Act of 2008, Sections 504 and 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Washington Law Against Discrimination, and RCW 28B.10.910, .912, and .914.   

No student shall, on the basis of their disability, be excluded from participation, denied benefits, or otherwise be subject to discrimination under any College program or activity.    

Shoreline College is committed to providing reasonable accommodations to qualified students with disabilities. To receive appropriate and timely reasonable accommodations, students are responsible for requesting accommodations and providing information to Student Accessibility Services regarding the nature and extent of their disability as necessary in accordance with College procedures.
