Policy  

The death of a Shoreline College student is a loss shared by the full community. The College extends its condolences to the family and friends of the student, as well as to the academic unit and all impacted Shoreline College community members.  

A degree may be awarded to a student who dies prior to the completion of degree requirements in accordance with progress eligibility and guidelines outlined in the Posthumous Degree procedure.
