Policy
The policy of Shoreline College District Number Seven (7) is to administer a post-retirement medical benefits plan for eligible employees using funds from sick leave buyouts at retirement. These plans are commonly referred to as a “VEBA” (Voluntary Employees’ Beneficiary Association) plan, and the College shall participate in such a plan. This policy applies to all employees eligible to accrue compensable sick leave.
