Former Students
If you were previously enrolled as a student at Shoreline but are not enrolled in the current quarter, you are a former student.
Get Ready to Return
If you last attended Shoreline in 2016 or later:
- You do not need to submit a new application
- Look up your student identification number (SID)
- Activate your new ctcLink account
- Log into ctcLink and makes sure your information is up to date
- Contact Enrollment Services to be Term Activated for Registration.
If you last attended Shoreline before 2016, you need to reapply for admission.
- Complete the online application
- Review the New Student Checklist
Update Your Information

Don't Miss our Messages
As a former student, you may have a @go.shoreline.edu email account on file. Using your @go.shoreline.edu email address is no longer required. Shoreline sends all official college communications about your student status, account, and important updates to your preferred email address.
To recover and use your @go.shoreline.edu email account, visit our Student Accounts page and click on "reset your network password." If you do not have an email account on file, we send instructions on how to create an account after your admission application has been processed.
When Can I Register for Classes?
Enrolled Within the Last Year:
Former students who have been away from the college for less than one year may register during Continuing Student Registration based on the number of earned credits.
Enrolled More Than One Year Ago:
Former students who have been away from the college for more than a year may register for the upcoming quarter during New Student Registration.
