Former Students
If you were previously enrolled as a student at Shoreline but are not enrolled in the current quarter, you are classified as a former student.
Get Ready to Return
Returning to Shoreline after less than two years?
- You do not need to submit a new application
- Look up your student identification number (SID)
- Activate your new ctcLink account using your SID to receive your ctcLink ID
- Log into ctcLink and makes sure your information is up to date
Returning to Shoreline after more than two years?
- Reapply for admission to Shoreline using the online application
- Check the New Student Checklist to make sure you are ready for your first day back.
Update Your Information
Once you have created your ctcLink account, we ask that all former students update their information within ctcLink prior to registering for classes. Learn how to update your contact information within ctcLink:

Don't Miss our Messages to You
As a former student, you may have a @go.shoreline.edu email account on file. With the conversion to ctcLink, using your @go.shoreline.edu email address is no longer required. Whatever email you have designated as your preferred email address within ctcLink will be used to send all official college communications about your student status, account, and important updates.
If you would like to recover and use your @go.shoreline.edu email account, visit our Student Accounts page and click on "Reset your Network password". If you do not have an email account on file, you will be sent instructions on how to create an account after your admission application has been processed.
When Can I Register for Classes?
Here Less Than a Year Ago:
Former students that have been away from the College for less than one year may register during continuing student registration based on the number of earned credits, or at any time thereafter during the open registration period.
Here More Than a Year Ago:
Former students that have been away from the College for more than a year may register for the upcoming quarter immediately following continuing student registration, or at any time thereafter.
