Go Home: by Parisa Ghaderi

Creator, storyteller, educator... Having lived in both Iran and the United States, Ghaderi has experienced a unique state of existence- constantly straddling two worlds without fully belonging to either. Due to this existence, Ghaderi’s artwork is profoundly influenced by the urgent concerns of immigration and the impact of borders, serving to navigate the intricate complexities of these issues.

"The Shoreline Art Gallery is thrilled to welcome Studio Arts alumna Annie Reierson back to campus with a vibrant body of work that transforms experiences of the natural and urban world into striking photographic forms. Through organic dyes, analog processes, Polaroid emulsion lifts, and screen printing, she demonstrates how uniquely personal every image can be.

Celebrating Reierson’s achievements is also a celebration of our community. Her success highlights the exciting creative paths that begin at Shoreline and inspires current students to imagine what their own artistic practice can become."
