Troy Wolff Memorial Humanities Scholarship

Troy Wolff

This scholarship established in Troy’s memory will provide aid to students who focus on the humanities in their studies at Shoreline Community College.

Troy Wolff was a beloved and respected co-worker and English faculty at Shoreline Community College for 17 years. In addition to teaching composition and literature,Troy also taught in the college’s study abroad program, taking students to Costa Rica, Spain, Greece and Turkey. Troy was also a published author, having completed two volumes of Seattle and King County: Gateway to the Pacific Northwest. He was chair of the English Department at the time of his tragic death.

 

Troy was a wonderful, warm human being who was committed to his students. He was adored and well respected by all who knew him.

Contributions to the Campus Memorial FundToy Wolf memorial bench

Thank you to all who contributed to the Campus Memorial Fund in memory of Troy Wolff. The installation of a permanent memorial bench in Troy's memory has been installed north of the Ray W Howard Library/Media/Technology Center.  Dedication is planned for September 2014.
