Tami Barron
"Not a day goes by that I don't give thanks for the opportunity you have had a hand in providing for me and my children.

"Without your generosity, I would not be where I am today!

"Please accept not only my humble gratitude, but that of my children. If asked, they would tell you I remind them often of how this scholarship has made a difference for us now and how it impacts our future."
- Tami, 2008 Shoreline CC Graduate

An endowment is a permanent fund in which the principle is invested and the earnings are used to support students. Endowed funds support in perpetuity, programs or purposes designated by the donor. Unrestricted endowed funds are especially critical because they allow the college to respond to challenges and opportunities as they change over time.

Memorial Scholarships
Donations are made by family and friends in memory of a loved one. Proceeds are often directed to particular programs or specific areas of student aid.

Foundation & Donation Details
The Shoreline CC Foundation is a separate 501(c) 3 tax exempt organization established in 1984 to provide funding for student and college needs not otherwise met by state funding and tuition fees. A volunteer board of directors composed of representatives of community leaders, business and industry, alumni and educators governs the Foundation. For the purpose of strengthening the development program and partially defraying related administrative costs, a fee of 5% will be assessed on all gifts and contracts made to the Shoreline Community College Foundation effective July 1, 2013.
