Aid for Undocumented Students (WASFA)

SB 6523, commonly known as The Real Hope Act, was signed into law in 2014.  This law allows undocumented non-citizens who are unable to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) due to their immigration status to apply for state financial aid through the Washington Application for State Financial Aid (WASFA)

Steps to Apply:

1. Complete the WASFA

2. Apply for Admission to Shoreline Community College (if you have not already)

3. Check deadlines

4. Check your financial aid status online.
The financial aid office will review your WASFA application to determine if you are eligible for funding. You will receive an email notification regarding any aid offer.
