Financial Aid

Financial aid helps students pay for college. This financial assistance can cover educational expenses including tuition and fees, books, supplies, and transportation. There are several types of financial aid, including grants, scholarships, work study, and loans. Financial aid awards may include a combination of these various types of aid.

We are experiencing a high volume of calls and emails and our normal response time is delayed. Please allow 5-7 business days for a reply. Many questions can be answered by reviewing our website.

The financial aid office is currently reviewing completed applications for students attending summer quarter that met our June 21 deadline. We appreciate your patience as we focus on file processing.

Important News Concerning the 2024-25 FAFSA and WASFA

The 2024-2025 FAFSA and WASFA are now available!    The FAFSA and WASFA for future years should be available on October 1.   Please see our FAFSA Simplification Act page for more details.

As you may have heard, the FAFSA has been updated with fewer questions to answer and allowing more students to be eligible for the Federal Pell Grant.  These changes have affected processing times for financial aid offices throughout the country.

Students attending Summer 2024: We are currently processing applications for students with a valid FAFSA/WASFA received by June 21 and who were registered for summer by June 21 as priority.  Students whose applications were received after June 21 will be reviewed in the order they were received once our priority students are done.

Students attending Fall 2024:  Processing for students attending fall will begin once summer students have been reviewed.  We anticipate review to begin sometime in August.

Please check your email and the status of your financial aid on ctcLink for updates from our office.

Change of Income
