Learn Spanish and Explore Costa Rica August 2026

Shoreline College also offers credit Study Abroad programs for current Shoreline students with a few openings for community! Study Abroad 2026 will be held on Saturday, August 22 through Saturday, September 19, 2026 to Costa Rica. In the month, you will learn and practice Spanish, experience traditional foods and activities, explore the beauty of Costa Rica and make new friends! Open to College students and the community. Join us for Zoom information sessions

The summer program to learn Spanish and explore Costa Rica is open to the community.  Study Spanish language and travel to Costa Rica Summer 2026 for 4 weeks!  Choose credit or non-credit. Live with host families and study in Heredia and Playa Samara. Small classes of 6 or fewer encourage listening and speaking practice. Many excursions and activities are included: Overnight stays to Manual Antonio National Park, Arenal Volcano; Day tours to coffee farm, Poas Volcano La Paz Waterfall Garden, river rafting and ocean kayaking. This 4 week trip does not include international airfare to/from SJO, tuition for 5 credits of Spanish, lunches. Information: wcccsa.com/costarica
