Clock Hours

Clock Hours for Educators & Professional Development CEUs

Are you a Washington State K-12th grade teacher wanting to earn Clock Hours with the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI)? Or do you require Continuing Education Units (CEU) for an industry certification? You can earn credits 3 ways!

1. Credit Courses in person or online at Shoreline Community College

Register for credit courses and pay the $20 per quarter fee to earn Clock Hours for any relevant courses taken during that quarter. Browse current quarter courses on the website: Class Schedule | Shoreline Community College but note that not all courses may apply to your position requirements and it is up to the student to confirm with their employer or OSPI. We will issue you a certificate upon completion.

2.  Online professional and career development courses in partnership with ed2go.

Browse the online course catalog specific for teachers: https://www.ed2go.com/shoreteachers/. The CE Clock hours fees are included in these courses and registration is via the ed2go portal. We will issue you a certificate upon completion. Not all courses in the general catalog are approved so use the Shoreline teachers portal link. Note that self-paced courses are NOT eligible for Clock Hours. The complete catalog for ed2go is linked to the side bar on this page: Professional Development | Shoreline Community College and Career Training | Shoreline Community College

3.  Non-credit Continuing Education classes offered by Shoreline Community College

Non-credit courses offered through Shoreline Continuing Education may count for Clock Hours and/or CEUs. Pay the $20 fee once per quarter and earn Clock Hours for any courses taken during that quarter.  We will issue you a certificate upon completion.
