Advisory Committee

Shoreline Community College utilizes community advisory committees in all of its professional/technical programs. Advisory committees create a critical linkage between industry and the College, enabling Shoreline to respond to the needs of a constantly changing labor market.

Members of the committee provide advice regarding the planning, administration, curriculum development and evaluation of programs. Meetings are open to students and all those interested.

Al Compaan

Al Compaan has worked for the City of Edmonds Police Department since 1978 and has had the opportunity to serve within each rank of the Department, up to and including his appointment as Chief of Police in October, 2007.

Faculty Lead

Linda Forst

Linda Forst, joined Shoreline in 2001 after retiring at the rank of Captain from the Boca Raton, FL Police Services Department. Forst served as Commander of the uniform division where she received the "Outstanding Community Service" award in 1994.
