+ travel in Ecuador June 25/26 – July 6/7, 2027

Ecuador is a country of staggering diversity and high economic disparity. Access to healthcare is often inequitable. This travel course explores the variety of factors, including geography, education, economics, religion, and politics, that affect Ecuadorians’ health and access to health services.

The itinerary includes visits to various health care centers, a respected university nursing program, and a service-learning project. Students will gain insight into the unique challenges and a variety of solutions to providing healthcare in Ecuador. The itinerary also includes visits to several cultural and natural points of interest!

Program Fee of $2125* Includes:

• 10 nights lodging in double occupancy hotels
• All ground transportation in Ecuador
• All activities, lectures and projects listed in itinerary
• Breakfasts and Lunches Guide/translator
• Medical insurance
• Tips for guides / drivers

*Fee is based on minimum  8 students participating
