Dr. Malhas, Esq. represents clients in individual & corporate transactions, negotiations, International Business & international organizations, structuring outstanding investment projects, investment immigration, and private and public offerings.
She has advised firms in and outside the United States on policy and strategy development, legislative analysis, and expansion to national and international markets. Dr. Malhas successfully formed and negotiated multi-million dollar global partnerships between domestic entrepreneurs, foreign investment, and venture capitalists resulting in the creation of a nationally and internationally recognized corporate model acquiring capital contributions from foreign, national, and local markets. She has also counseled clients on forming international trade and diplomatic delegations regarding energy and clean technologies, entrepreneurship and investment, art law, international sport events, ICT and healthcare.
Dr. Malhas has been an international consultant to several United Nations agencies and departments, the League of Arab States, and the World Bank, regarding legislative analysis , project document preparation and funding proposals, women entrepreneurship rights, organizational restructuring, and joint ventures for major international organizations. She has also worked with the U.S. State Department and for foreign organizations and law firms.
Dr. Malhas has performed on-sight consultancies in several Middle East countries including Kuwait, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia. She has counseled hundreds of foreign investors on investments in the United States, including business expansion, joint ventures.
Dr. Malhas’ education includes a Doctorate of Jurisprudence J.D. from Golden Gate University School of Law in San Francisco, California; a Masters of International Law LL.M. in International Legal Studies from American University Washington College of Law in Washington DC, with coursework in Paris, Geneva, & Brussels,; and, a Bachelor of Laws LL.B. from University of Jordan School of Law. Dr. Malhas received an honorary Doctorate in Law from the Ministry of Higher Education in Jordan, and was awarded a certification for Legislative Drafting and Policy Making from the International Law Institute & Georgetown Law Center in Washington DC.
