Lawrence D. (Larry) Fuell
Larry is the Director of the Global Affairs Center (GAC) and Adjunct Professor of Political Science specializing in International Relations and Foreign Policy. Prior to joining Shoreline’s faculty in 2006, Larry served more than 20 years in the U.S. government, including as a Foreign Agricultural Affairs Officer in Peru, China and Guatemala. He has taught at Concordia College in Moorhead, MN, and at the University of Jos in Nigeria, and has traveled in Africa, Asia, Europe, and Latin America. Born in Cincinnati, Larry earned his B.A. degree at Miami University (Oxford, Ohio) and his PhD in Political Science at the University of Kentucky (Lexington, Kentucky).
Tri is an immigration student from Vietnam and has lived in the United States since 2010. Tri is studying computer information systems at Shoreline and plans to transfer to the University of Washington or Seattle University with an Associate degree. After earning his Bachelor degree in computer programming, Tri wants to work as a computer programmer and computer systems designer. In his free time, Tri like to play soccer, video game and he dabble in playing guitar. I favorite soccer team is Arsenal, an England team.
Dung is an international student from Vietnam studying business and working towards earning a Global studies certificate at the same time. His goal is to complete a four-year degree specializing in international trade and business. In 2013-2014 he completed the SCC Honors Program, and work in the Marketing Outreach Team for Shoreline. Being involved in various global affairs in academic and working environment, I grow a great interest in engaging with activities and discussions relating to global issues. I also promote multilingualism in the world by building free language-learning website.
