COVID-19 Vaccine Requirements for Health Occupation Students

All students in health occupation programs are required to be vaccinated for COVID-19, including Nursing, Nursing Assistant Certified, Dental Hygiene, and Medical Laboratory Technology. Only medical exemptions will be reviewed and are not guaranteed acceptance by clinical facilities.

I-Best Option (NAC 103): Interested applicants will meet one-on-one with a specialist, who will guide them through the application process, identify tuition funding options, and assist them with placement testing, a criminal background check, and immunization paperwork. No high school diploma is needed in order to enroll in this program.

Non-I-Best Option (NAC 105): Interested applicants contact Lori Cronin at lcronin@shoreline.edu or (206) 546-4707 for guidance with the application process, background check and immunization paperwork.

No high school diploma is needed in order to enroll in this program. A passing grade of 2.0 or higher in ONE of the following is needed:

  • Math 099 or higher (in-person or online) or placement in Math&141
  • English 101 (in-person or online)
  • 5 credit college-level Human Anatomy (in-person or online)
  • Other online college-level course
