ASL Interpreting & Captioning Requests
Students who need American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters for meetings must request these through the Student AIM Portal. These requests must be made a minimum of seven business days in advance or Student Accessibility Services cannot guarantee provision of services. It is the responsibility of the student to request their interpreters.
Please note that interpreters for classes will not be provided until students have registered with SAS and have completed an Access Appointment.
Please see below for the appropriate link to request interpreters through the Student AIM Portal:
- Students needing a one-time interpreter - example: interpreting for meetings (this form can be used more than once!)
- Students currently registered with Student Accessibility Services who have interpreting as an accommodation - interpreting for classes.
- Visitors to Shoreline Community College should contact Human Resources
