We are a leader in MUSIC and MUSIC TECHNOLOGY training, with a depth and breadth of classes to prepare you for many career paths in music. Faculty are performance-oriented, working musicians. Small classes encourage interactions with other students as well as close contact with faculty.

Attention students! There will be an information and orientation meeting for all Music and Music Technology students on Thursday, September 24 from 12:00 – 1:00pm in the Bracken Building.
This is an opportunity to meet your Music Advisors, Music Faculty, receive important information about your degree, learn about music performance ensembles, private lessons and more!
Faculty Spotlight: Josh Rawlings
Josh Rawlings is one of most sought after performing and studio pianists in the Pacific
Northwest today. He's played piano on Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ Single “Downtown” and
is also the featured pianist on their rousing landmark single “Same Love.”
He has toured throughout the United States and Europe with Macklemore and Allen Stone as well as his NW super group Industrial Revelation. Josh has also opened for legendary R&B/Soul singer Al Green and played in such esteemed venues as Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado, Ryman Auditorium (the original Grand Ole Opry), Bonnaroo and many more.
Josh teaches private piano lessons (MUSC 196 & 296) at Shoreline. Talk to your Program Advisor about setting up piano lessons with Josh.

Designed for artists, producers, songwriters, managers, students, and music professionals, the Shoreline Music Summit brings together the region's creative community for a full day of inspiring conversations, practical workshops, networking, and live performances. Whether you're releasing your first song or growing a long-term career, you'll leave with new ideas, meaningful connections, and actionable tools to support your next chapter.
This year's programming will feature keynote conversations, breakout sessions, artist development workshops, industry panels, and a special evening performance, with topics including audience growth, touring, music production, sustainable careers, mental health, and community building.
