Peggy O’Coyne Memorial Music Scholarship
$2000.00
Overview
MERIT-BASED SCHOLARSHIP. This fund was established by the Shoreline Community College
Music Department in memory of Peggy O'Coyne, who served as Music Department admin
from 1983 - 1990. The scholarship is intended for Shoreline Community College students
who wish to pursue a degree and/or career in music.
Qualifications
- Must be enrolled in the SCC Music Program with focus on Vocal, Instrumental, or
Piano Performance
- Must be a Full-Time student
- Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5
Instrumental Music Scholarship
$1,000
Overview
MERIT-BASED SCHOLARSHIP. This Scholarship is for students enrolled in an instrumental
performing ensemble and/or instrumental private lessons, with preference given to
students enrolled in both and with a declared music or music tech major.

Mitchell Music Scholarship
$500.00
Overview
NEED-BASED SCHOLARSHIP. This scholarship is intended to provide Shoreline CC Music
students with financial assistance in a time of need.
Qualifications
Applicants must meet all of the qualifications in at least one of the following groups
- Must be enrolled in the SCC Music Program
- Must be a Continuing student
- Must complete a FAFSA/WAFSA
OR
- Must be enrolled in the SCC Music Program
- Must be a Continuing student
- Must have a valid reason to not complete FAFSA/WAFSA
OR
- Must be enrolled in a music performance ensemble at SCC
- Must be a Continuing student
- Must complete a FAFSA/WAFSA
OR
- Must be enrolled in a music performance ensemble at SCC
- Must be a Continuing student
- Must have valid reason to not complete FAFSA/WAFSA
SCC Piano Scholarship

Overview
MERIT-BASED SCHOLARSHIP. This scholarship is for Music majors. Preference will be
given to Piano majors and/or students taking private piano lessons.
Qualifications
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0
- Must be a Full-Time student
