Peggy O'Coyne Memorial Music Scholarship
A Live Audition is required as part of the application process

Must have applied to or currently be enrolled in the Music Department

Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 for all music courses

Must plan to enroll in a minimum of 6 credits per quarter during the 2019-2020 school year

Must plan to perform in at least one major ensemble for the 2019-2020 school year (Chorale, Shoreline Singers, Jazz Ensemble, Concert Band)
Swisher/Matesky Piano Scholarship
$1,000 to 1 student
- Must have applied to or currently be enrolled in the Music Department
- Must be a US Citizen, legal US resident, or permanent resident
- Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 for all music courses
- Must enroll in 2 credits of Music 180 or 280 each quarter they are available
- Must write an essay about the role piano has played in your goals
The Sparrow Scholarship in Memory of Ted Luttrell for Music Technology Students
$3,000 to 1 student
- Must be seeking a degree or certificate in Music Technology
- Be a Washington State Resident (as defined by the college)
- Have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
- Submit a 300-600 word essay about the challenges you have faced and how those challenges have impacted your ability to make your dreams a reality
- Financial need will be a consideration, but is not a requirement
SYMETRIX Scholarship for Digital Audio Engineering Students
$500 to 1 student
- Must be seeking a degree in Digital Audio Engineering
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or legal U.S. resident or permanent U.S. resident with an I-1551 Card or a student in F-1 non-immigrant status
- Must be in Good Academic standing with Shoreline CC
- Must have a minimum 3.0 Shoreline CC GPA for college level courses
- Must have completed a minimum of two quarters at Shoreline CC
- Must have taken at least 12 credits in Music Tech courses
- Must plan to be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits per quarter during the upcoming school year
- Financial need will be considered but is not a requirement
