REQUEST AN EMBEDDED TUTOR

Embedded tutors are tutors dedicated to -- or "embedded in" -- a particular course section. They have tutoring hours set aside specifically for students in that section and are able to assist those students based on a greater knowledge of the section's assignments, pace, learning outcomes, and instructor's teaching style.

Embedded tutors typically commit to 5 hours/week per class:

  • 2 hours spent in-class
  • 2 hours of tutoring for students outside of class
  • 1 hour set aside for prep and communication with the instructor

Request an embedded tutor here
(Please submit requests by week 8 of the preceding term).
