Planned campus power shutdown - Friday, September 24th. No in-person services: Power will be shut down throughout Shoreline's campus on September 24th to perform required maintenance work. No in-person services will be available until Monday Sept 27th. Staff will continue to be available online and through remote services.
Online services that will be affected include:
- Wi-Fi access in and near the affected buildings: 1800, 2100, 2200, 2300, 2400, 2500, 2600, 2700, 2900, 3000, and 5000.
- Student remote access to labs in the affected buildings
The shutdown will not interfere with Canvas or other core online services such as class schedule and registration.
State-of-the-art facilities: dedicated labs for photography, sculpture, painting, drawing, and ceramics; four
digital house labs; three computer labs; black and white gang-darkroom, individual
color darkrooms, processing, and equipment library; full-production print shop
Equipment check out: photography equipment, including film and digital cameras, available for student
Student showcases: opportunity to display work in several student-run journals, multiple campus gallery
spaces, gallery shows, club sales, and portfolio shows
Focused learning: students choose from five areas of concentration to ensure subject matter expertise
on top of mastery of fundamentals
Easy transfer: articulation agreements with most Washington State four-year colleges
