The Pod
The Pod offers a place for students, faculty, and staff to record a variety of personal and professional audio and video projects.
The Pod is a sound-treated (not sound-proof) space that can be used to record lectures, speeches, podcasts, and more. Please keep in mind that The Pod is not equipped to record music or film large groups.
When you book a session in The Pod, you will work with a trained student producer that will manage the equipment and help you to deliver a quality product.
The Pod houses a variety of equipment to fit your needs of your project. We have podcast mics, lapel mics, and boom mics. In addition, we have digital cameras to record your scene, or document cameras to capture a small scope of handwritten notes.
To view the current schedule and book a time in The Pod to work with a student producer, use the scheduling tool to book for 30 minutes, 1 hour, or 1.5 hours. Please provide as much information as possible about your project when scheduling. If you are a faculty member looking to partner with The Pod for a class project, please email elearning@shoreline.edu
