World Languages Department

The World Language Department offers five languages including American Sign Language, Chinese, French, Japanese, and Spanish. Our goal is to help students to develop a functional use of another language in order to participate in multilingual communities and a globalized environment that values and appreciates diverse cultures. Students prepare to apply their skills to bring global competence to their future careers and experiences.
