Engineering & Computer Science Department
Students in Engineering and Computer Science classes begin to learn how to apply mathmatics, science, and technology to design, test, manufacture and improve new products, materials, structures and processes.
The Engineering program at Shoreline prepares students for transfer to universities around the country in a variety of areas. The courses are high-touch, with hands-on projects and exercises designed to engage students and facilitate their learning. Activities are built with opportunities to work independently as well as in groups and with opportunities for iterative interaction with faculty, in a caring and supportive environment while fostering soft leadership skills and teamwork experience that will help them to succeed at their transfer universities and in their professional careers.
