English as a Second Language (ESL)

Welcome!

Shoreline’s ESL Program offers English classes for English Language Learners living in Washington state.

We offer 7 levels of ESL classes to help students reach their English language goals for work, life, and academics. We have classes for beginner speakers, as well as high-level academic English classes that prepare students to enter Shoreline's degree programs and professional-technical programs.

Due to high demand, the estimated wait time to start classes is approximately 6 months.

2.  You must contact the office about a month before the quarter starts to confirm you still are interested and tell us which class you want. These are the date ranges to contact us:

  • Summer Quarter: Contact us at the end of June.
  • Fall Quarter: contact at end of August
  • Winter Quarter:contact at end of November
  • Spring Quarter:contact at end of March

 

Costs

Classes cost $25 per quarter. (Students can apply to take classes for free).
