What subjects are covered by the GED test?

The new online GED test covers reasoning (language arts), math, science and social studies.

How long does each test take?

GED:

Reasoning......... 2 hrs. 30 min.
Math.................  1 hr. 55 min.
Science............. 1 hr. 30 min.
Social Studies.... 1 hr. 30 min.

Where can I find study guides?

GED: We suggest that you either take a GED preparation course, which you can access by calling (206) 546-4602, or use the study guides from the GED website.

I need accommodation. Who can I contact for assistance?

What other placement tests does Shoreline Community College accept?

Some scores from Accuplacer are accepted. Contact the Advising Office for more information at (206) 546-4559. Shoreline also accepts the ASSET test, a paper version of Compass.

How do I register for classes?

Enroll at Shoreline and register for classes via Enrollment Services or call (206) 546-4611 to talk to an enrollment specialist.

I have my test results, but I don't agree with the outcome. What can I do?
