Graduation Applications

Students completing a transfer or major related program associate’s degree should follow these steps. If you are completing more than one degree or certificate, you will need to submit a separate graduation application for each one.

Step 1: Meet with your advisor to review your academic process and check your transfer planning guide or Degree Progress (available for most degrees).

Step 2: Fill out the online Application for Degree (graduation application) and submit your completed application by the deadline listed above. List all colleges from which credits are to be used to complete degree requirements.

Your application will be reviewed and a notification email will be sent to your Shoreline Network Account email address about your graduation status. If you have any questions, please email sccgrad@shoreline.edu

Students completing a professional/technical degree or certificate should follow these steps. If you are completing more than one degree or certificate, submit a separate graduation application for each.

Step 1: Consult with your faculty advisor in your program to schedule a 30 minute appointment.

Meet with your faculty advisor to review your academic progress, finalize the required paperwork, and sign off on your planning guide.

Step 2:  Fill out the degree or certificate graduation application form:

Step 3: Have the dean sign off on your planning guide, keeping all documentation together.

Step 4: Submit your completed application and signed planning guide by the above deadline to Enrollment & Financial Aid Services (FOSS Building 5000).

Diplomas

Diplomas for degrees and certificates are awarded once a final graduation evaluation has occurred to confirm all requirements have been satisfied. Diplomas are mailed to graduates 10-12 weeks after the end of the quarter in which they graduate.

Commencement Ceremony

Commencement is an annual ceremony held in June that celebrates the completion of a degree or certificate. Attending Commencement is not required to graduate but is an opportunity to celebrate your accomplishments. Learn how to participate in Commencement.
