International Student Orientation Schedule

Summer 2022 Orientation will be June 21-24, and will have a combination of in-person and online Zoom sessions. If your first quarter at Shoreline will be Summer 2022, you will receive your orientation information directly from our staff members about 1-2 weeks before the first day of Orientation. 

See below for a sample list of sessions that will take place during Orientation. For Summer 2022, some of these sessions will be in person, and some will be online. The information below is subject to change.

For Summer 2022, if you will be joining us in the U.S., here is a sample schedule.

In-person orientation will begin on Day One in the Main Dining Room in the PUB (room 9215). Click here for a Campus Map.

If you have not yet checked in on campus before Orientation with your passport, please bring your passport to the first day of Orientation.

The first day of Summer Orientation will consist of the following sessions:

  • Welcome
  • F-1 visa session
  • Insurance information
  • Online account set-up (ctcLink, Canvas, etc.)
  • English placement test
  • Academic seminar for English-exempt students
  • Lunch will be provided

Please note that exact sessions and times are subject to change.

For future orientations, we may switch back to a larger number of in-person sessions. A SAMPLE schedule of a fully in-person orientation is provided below.
