categories of gender can structure patterns of power, and how the institutions of
family, education, employment, politics and media shape individuals as gendered beings.
An interdisciplinary field, Gender and Women's Studies incorporates disciplines such
as sociology, economics, political science, anthropology, literature, psychology and
more.
The Associate in Arts - Direct Transfer Agreement (AA-DTA) is part of Shoreline’s General Transfer program and is designed to meet the first two years of requirements of most four-year degrees.
