How to transfer your SEVIS record
Transfer your SEVIS record to Shoreline Community College
- Tell your current school you plan to transfer
- Submit all documents required by your current school
- Ask them to release your record in ACTIVE status to Shoreline Community College (SEA214F00184000) by the first day of orientation
- Confirm with your current school advisor what date they will be releasing your record and email the date to international@shoreline.edu.
Receive your I-20
If you will travel outside of the U.S., including to Canada, before attending Shoreline Community College, we will provide a Transfer Pending I-20 for you. Please make sure to use this I-20 when you return to the U.S.
If you are not traveling outside the U.S., you will receive your new I-20 after registration.
Check the expiration date on your passport
The final date on your passport should be at least six months beyond your intended
period of stay in the United States.
