Preventing Sexual Assault
Every 73 seconds a person in America is sexually assaulted.* At Shoreline we are committed to supporting survivors of sexual assault and creating a culture of prevention to stop sexual assault before it happens.
Safe at Shoreline
Every day we are all responsible for creating a safe physical and virtual space where everyone in our community can learn and work without fear of being sexually assaulted or harassed. Here’s what we will do to create that safe space:
- We Will Ask for consent when engaging in sexual activity with someone
- We Will Support Survivors of sexual assault by listening with compassion and helping them to get the help they need
- We Will Intervene safely when we become aware of a situation where someone is being harmed
