Physics & Astronomy Department

The Physics & Astronomy faculty are committed to providing students hands-on engagement with the scientific process, offering experimental components in all courses. Whether working in our modern laboratory, or from tools for our online classes, students gain firsthand experience through measurement and analysis.

Faculty collaborate with one another to create impactful learning opportunities and a strong sense of continuity among sequence courses. Our students transfer to some of the most competitive universities in the country and perform well once there. The Physics Learning Center is a hub for tutoring, peer support and study resources to support students.
