The Writing & Learning Studio (TWLS) dedicates itself to student success by offering free services and resources to students who want to develop, improve, or sharpen their writing, reading, or study skills. Click the link "Services" for more information.

Students may use The Studio on a walk-in or for-credit basis. No appointments are necessary! Students can earn one, two, or three credits by registering for English 089 Reading Center or English 099 Writing Center to work on reading, writing, or study skills. These individualized lab courses are open to both native and non-native English speakers. (Non-native speakers should be at ESL Level 5 or higher to register for lab credit.)

Students can also use TWLS tutoring and resources as "walk-in" students (without taking credit). Tutoring, handouts, workshops, and many kinds of instructional materials are available to students who "drop in" to The Studio.
