Meet the Cast of Big Fish

Anne ArnholdAnne Arnhold (Sandra Bloom)
has performed in nearly 50 productions at various theatres, including the Seattle Musical Theatre, Driftwood and Northwest Savoyards. She played I.Q. in Shoreline’s previous musical, Hairspray. She'd like to thank everyone she's ever talked to, and hopes you have an excellent extended period of time.

 

Kaelyn Barnes (Jenny Hill, Ensemble)Kaelyn Barnes
is attending her first year of college at Shoreline Community College. She has appeared in Once Upon A Mattress, Our Town, You're a Good Man Charlie Brown, and You Can't Take it With You at Jackson High School in Mill Creek. She looks forward to performing in more shows at Shoreline! Kaelyn hopes to transfer to the University of Washington to study music and education while still participating in theatre!

 

Savanah BrewerSavanah Brewer (Witch, Ensemble)
This is Savanah Brewer’s first show in Washington! She recently moved here from California looking for new adventure. She currently works at Starbucks, and is attending Arizona State University in art history, but hopes to make a career in theatre. Her credits include Into The Woods (The Witch), Pippin (Leading Player), Children of Eden (Father), and many more. Be the hero of YOUR story!

 

StaggerLee Cole (Zacky Price/Ensemble)Stager Lee Cole
Introducing Natural Born World-Shaker Fresh out of high school StaggerLee Cole! Big Fish is his third play at Shoreline following You Can’t Take it With You and Texarkana Waltz. StaggerLee has been on stage since 5th grade but wants to be a film actor and to eventually act in his own films following in Mel Brooks’ footsteps. Currently he is waiting for Spielberg to give him a call and he has picked out a cement slab for his handprints in front of the Mann’s Chinese Theater.

 

Dakota BaileyDakota Daley (Will Bloom)
is thrilled to be a part of such a wonderful show as Big Fish. Past credits include: The Music Man (5th Avenue Theatre), Urinetown and Carrie (Balagan Theatre), and as Smee in Peter Pan (Lyric Light Opera). Thanks to the whole cast and crew! Enjoy the show!

 

Sarah Lena DobsonSarah Dobson (Josephine, Ensemble)
is a 23-year-old woman filled with the wonder of life. She is playing the role of Josephine in this production of Big Fish. Throughout her life she has had deep passion for singing, dance, body expression, and music. Big fish is the first musical she has been a part of in her adult life. Sarah has been a part of vocal groups and is an avid member of the ecstatic dance community and yoga community in Seattle. She is very grateful and joyous to be finally pursuing her love of being on the stage.

 

Nicholas Edmondson (Don Price, Ensemble)Nick Edmondson
is a local actor with a life-long passion for all things film and theater (although Big Fish will be his first musical). He has been singing his entire life and enjoys playing piano and guitar in his free time. A few of his acting credits include: You Can't Take it With You, 13 Ways To Screw Up Your College Interview, and the official music video for AWOLNATION's Hollow Moon.

 

Kisha FelarcaKisha Felarca (Ensemble)
is a film and theater student who is working towards a degree in Digital Production at Shoreline Community College. She has performed both in film and on stage since attending Shoreline. Big Fish will be her first musical production.

 

Helen Fritze (Ensemble)Helen Fritze
This is Helen Fritze's fourth production at Shoreline Community College and she is honored to be part of the Northwest Premier of Big Fish! Helen has been enchanted by theatre and cinema since she was old enough to babble and considers music, dancing and acting the world’s most vital and often misunderstood medicine. Helen would like to thank her family for their love, support and wisdom, and also the entire cast and all those involved in the making of this production. Enjoy the show Ladies and Gentlemen!

 

Tanner KlineTanner Kline (Ensemble)
is simply super stoked to be a part of Big Fish and work with such talented and spectacular actors. Tanner has performed in Legally Blonde (Warner Huntington III), Ballyhoo Theater, as well as having the great pleasure of performing in Shoreline’s production of Hairspray (Corny Collins) and in The Rocky Horror Picture Show (Rocky) at the Renton Civic Theater. Currently enrolled at Shoreline Community College, Tanner plans to transfer to Cornish College of the Arts to major in acting and making a career out of being a show monkey. Tanner hopes you enjoy this fantastical display of passion, hope and redemption that has so deeply touched his soul.

 

Dima Pogrebniak (Karl the Giant, Ensemble)Dima Pogrebniak
is thrilled to be back at Shoreline for the Northwest premier of Big Fish. He moved back to the Seattle area last year and was recently seen in Man of La Mancha at Seattle Musical Theatre, and Hairspray at Shoreline Community College. Thanks for all of the support. Enjoy the show!

 

Anita Amolitos Proudfoot

Anita Amolitos Proudfoot (Ensemble)
is thrilled to be part of the awesome cast and creative team of Big Fish. Anita has studied classical voice for many years and has been a soloist with many Seattle churches. Anita has been involved with various Shoreline drama productions and was a soloist in the 2015 Opera Workshop. A professional graphic/web designer, Anita is also part of the promotion/marketing team for Big Fish.

 

Bryan Mize

Bryan has been enamored with all things theatrical for more than 3 decades. While he hasn’t performed much recently, some of his past roles include: The Wizard in The Wizard of Oz, Curly in Oklahoma, and Random Guy #3 in A Better Me For You. Most of Bryan’s energies have been recently spent supporting the local theater service organization called Theatre Puget Sound. This non-profit vibrantly supports the arts in our communities and could use a little of your support as well. Chris SheaChris Shea (Edward Bloom)
a multi-faceted theatre artist from Dayton, Ohio (Go Flyers!) has worked with companies around the nation on both sides of the table. He is the founding Artistic Director of Free Shakespeare!, an organization devoted to liberating the Bard from the tyranny of uninspired English teachers. He is also the company manager for Seattle's Theatre22 (www.theatre22.org). This is his first time working with the Shoreline Musical Theater program and he couldn't be happier playing Edward Bloom. Thank you for supporting live theatre!

 

Daniel Ray SillerDaniel Ray Siller (Mayor/Ensemble)
is a first year music student at Shoreline Community College. He is pursuing a B.A. in Music Composition. Big Fish is his second musical production at Shoreline Community College. His first was Opera Americana in the 2015 Winter Quarter.

 

Kaelen Smith (Mermaid, Ensemble)Kaelen Smith
is so glad to be back on the Shoreline stage. She performed in the 2015 Opera Workshop, Opera Americana. While at Shorewood High School she was in The Laramie Project, The Wizard of Oz, and Our Town. This is her second year at Shoreline and she looks forward to being part of many more Shoreline productions.

 

Gideon St. Onge (Young Will Bloom)Gideon St. Onge
is 10 years old and is currently in 5th grade. This is his first production with Shoreline Community College. His favorite role is Marvin the Magic Mirror from What a Knight performed at his school this year. Gideon loves reading, comedy, Minecraft, and making new friends. He is excited to be playing Young Will and to be sharing time with the many kind and creative individuals in this production.

 

Joshua Wagner SmithJoshua Wagner-Smith (Ensemble)
is excited to be in his first musical production since high school. He has been in two previous Shoreline productions playing You Can't Take it With You (Mr. Henderson), and Texarkana Waltz (Houston). He is currently taking classes in writing and art at Shoreline Community College. He hopes to pursue a career with his art while continuing theater work.

 

Maggie West (Ensemble)Maggie West
has been performing in shows since she was seven and never wants to stop. After graduating from SCC, Maggie will be pursuing a career in theatre. Most recent credits include: You Can't Take it With You (Penny Sycamore), Hairspray (Prudy, Matron), and Rumors (Cookie). In addition to being in musicals, Maggie enjoys crocheting, sewing, and reading long novels.

 

Ferandi YennasFerandi Yennas (Red Fang, Ensemble)
is in his second year at Shoreline Community College. He is pursuing an Associate in Arts degree in Drama and Theater Arts. He has been involved in both film and theater and has been a part of various Shoreline productions (You Can't Take it With You and Opera Americana). Big Fish will be his second musical production.

 

Tina YuTina Yu (Ensemble)
recently graduated from University of Washington with a bachelor’s degree in sociology. Now that she’s graduated from the UW, she's exploring one of her biggest passions – theatre! Big Fish is one of her first shows and she's very excited about it! Outside of theatre, Tina loves adventure in the city of Seattle - going to new coffee shops, trying new restaurants, finding cool Yelp events, and attending little sweet spots where she can read. She also loves brunch, genuine conversations, and sunny weather.

Creative Team

 

Charles EnlowCharles Enlow (Producer and Music Director) 

has directed and produced opera workshop and musical theater productions at Shoreline Community College since 2008. He served as a coach for opera productions with Opera Idaho, Austin Lyric Opera, the University of Texas at Austin, and the Austrian-American Mozart Academy in Salzburg, Austria. Dr. Enlow pursued his musical studies at the Juilliard School, the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, and the University of Texas at Austin, where he received his Doctor of Musical Arts in Piano Performance. He has performed throughout the United States and Europe as both a solo and collaborative pianist, with instrumental and vocal soloists. He has taught at the University of Texas and Texas State University, and is currently a music faculty member at Shoreline Community College, where he teaches piano, collaborative piano, and vocal ensembles, as well as directing the college’s opera and musical theater productions. He is active as a solo pianist, collaborative artist, and vocal coach throughout the United States.

 

Lee Ann Hittenberger (Choreography)Lee Ann Hittenberger
Recently completed the Professional Actor Training Program a Dell’Arte International School of Physical Theater. She has over 40 years of theater experience. She is a choreographer, costume designer, SAFD Actor Combatant, stage fight choreographer and has taught at Village Theater, Stone Soup, Bainbridge Performing Arts, Tacoma Little Theater, and assisted at Cornish College of the Arts.

 

Teresa ThumanTeresa Thuman (Director)
has directed locally for Seattle Music Theatre/CLO, Bainbridge Performing Arts, Driftwood Players, GreenStage, Cornish College of the Arts, Second Story Rep, Theater Schmeater, Experimental Theatre Project, Mae West Fest, and numerous fringe and new work festivals. Teresa received a BFA in Acting from Webster University, an MFA in directing from University of Portland and directs at several west coast theatres. In 2006, Teresa founded the Sound Theatre Company, which was recently honored with five Theatre Puget Sound Gregory Awards for excellence in theatre, including prestigious awards for Theatre of the Year and Best Production of a Musical for The Wild Party. She has served as an Assistant Director at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival and taught at University of Washington School of Drama PATP, Cornish College of the Arts, Freehold ETI, and served eight years as an Artist-in-Residence in California at PCPA TheatreFest where she taught in the conservatory and acted in over 30 productions.

 

John Nold (Stage Manager, Technical Director)John Nold
has been working with the creative team at Shoreline for over eight years. John received two degrees at Shoreline in the audio department, and is actively involved in audio post-production for film, including recently finishing the pilot for the newest Star Trek series, Star Trek: Phoenix, as well as several other international award-winning films. His numerous talents - including theater manager, stage manager, set builder, and general problem-solver - are invaluable to the success of the musical theater productions at Shoreline.

 

Mark RabeMark Rabe (Conductor/Pianist)
has worked as a music director/pianist/singing coach and sometimes actor/singer in Seattle's music theatre and cabaret scene for 25+ years. Music direction credits: Oh, Coward! at Seattle Repertory Theatre; Goblin Market at ACT Theatre; a dozen shows for Seattle Children's Theatre ranging from Wizard of Oz to Goodnight Moon; more than 15 shows for Showtunes Theatre Company including Nine, High Society, Falsettos and Singin' In The Rain at Nordstrom Recital Hall/Benaroya Hall; shows at various other local companies including Stage Right Theatre, 2ndStory Rep, Centerstage, Renton Civic, C.L.O., as well as numerous cabaret shows with a wide variety of big fish from Seattle's marvelous talent pool. Other favorite venues over the years: Cabaret Crepe de Paris (R.I.P.), Thumper's Oak Room (R.I.P.), Bathhouse Theatre (R.I.P.), Evergreen Theatre Conservatory (R.I.P.).

 

Kirsten Zeller (Assistant Stage Manager)Kirsten Zeller

has been assistant stage managing at Shoreline for two years. She has worked on Tutto Mozart!, Hairspray, You Can’t Take it With You, The Vagina Monologues, and Opera Americana. She loves working in the theater and is very excited to be on the Big Fish production team.
