Summer Hours and We're Moving
In early July, Workforce Education/Job Connections Center, Basic Food Employment & Training, Opportunity Grant, Worker–Retraining and WorkFirst will temporarily relocate to Room 4102 (in the Library building).
Summer hours from June 20th through September 2nd are:
Monday –Thursday: 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Friday: 8 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Shoreline Community College's Workforce Education Department supports students studying in any of our Professional/Technical programs. We are closely linked with the King County and Snohomish County systems of Workforce Training agencies, colleges and councils.
Our primary purpose is to use our considerable resources and experience to help you get the retraining that you need and find family-wage employment in the region. Workforce Education Funding
Our Workforce Education Funding Department offers assistance to eligible students to assist with education costs at Shoreline Community College.
Our WorkSource Connection/Job Connections Center provides students, community members and employers with career and job search resources. We offer a single point of access to services for both job seekers and employers.
The Business Accelerator Program and the City of Shoreline Economic Development Office are engaged with the new and emerging businesses of Shoreline with business planning and beyond. The program offers workshops, classes, one-on-one counseling and opportunities for community involvement.
The Career Builder offers short, non-credit courses specially designed to provide job retraining for seasoned job seekers. These courses will help you get back to work, give you new skills so you can stay in your current position, or create a new encore career. All ages are welcome. To enroll, call: 206-533-6706.
If you are a native speaker in any of the following languages, then we have a member of our Workforce staff who can speak with you directly. If you have Workforce questions or needs, please do not hesitate to contact us.
