Lab IX

Part I

Create your own lab. Find any website or group of websites that deal with any particular issue of the modern political world. (Globalization, Multinational Corporatism, Poverty, Sustainable Development, Environmentalism, etc.)

First identify the web pages and then discuss what kind of assignment you would create. Do

you want your students to read certain documents. If so which ones?

Second identify how the ideas of any of the classical philosophers can be used to examine and understand this modern issue.

Finally discuss your desired goal(s) as well as describe the content of your web assignment.

Evaluate your level of participation in this class using a scale of 1 to 4 (with 4 being the best).

Consider your contributions to class discussion as well as regular attendance. Please provide a narrative explanation of your own criteria for selecting your score. (Please Note: this will be considered in assigning your grade but will in no way be the sole determining factor in the assessment of your participation.)
