Spelling Games to Play with Friends

a)  Flashcards:
    1) Write the words (correctly) on separate flashcards.
    2) Give the cards to a friend.
    3) Your friend will read the word.
    4) If you spell it correctly, your friend hands you the card. If you spell it incorrectly in goes back in the pile.
    5) Continue until you win all the words.
    6) Repeat until you get them all correct the first time.

c) Word Search: Create your own word searches using this website.

d) Back Spelling:
     Using a closed pen, "write" words from your spelling list on the back of a friend.
     They have to guess what word you are spelling.

e) Word Scramble: Scramble the words and have a friend unscramble them.
