Disaster Preparedness

Often we hear news of natural disasters somewhere in the world, and most of us think that we should prepare for such an event, but usually the thought goes no further and we end up doing little or nothing. Getting ready is not difficult and it could help you and your family survive a serious disaster.

We encourage everyone to plan ahead which you can do by visiting these sites for further information.

3 days 3 ways is a King County website were you can learn how to build a disaster supply kit, make a plan and find out what kind of training may be of help during an emergency.

Also visit the City of Shoreline - Emergency Management website for a list other helpful resources.
