Keep in Touch with Neuroscience
Online…For Free!
In our
world today, the advances being made in our understanding the workings of our
nervous system, endocrine system and our minds is astonishing. While this information is beneficial for the academic
and research scientist, it is also beneficial to many of us for these advances
will impact our individual lives (e.g. in terms of medication) and even our
greater society. To be an information
participant in our society requires an ability to engage in a discussion
involving basic neurological topics, and importantly, being able to stay
informed about neurological advances.
Fortunately, there a number of websites where information about these
new advances can be accessed directly, or at least, is being discussed or
presented in an abbreviated manner (for the popular audience).
Listed
below are a number of freely accessible websites. This list is by no means exhaustive (and may
be updated frequently), but these are the ones that I find consistently
useful. Enjoy!
