The Student Advising Web Site has been developed to help students educate themselves about the procedures and processes involved in taking courses, completing a program/degree, transferring to a 4 year school, contacting your advisor, and/or seeking a career. We, at SCC, are committed to helping the student to obtain their academic goals in any way that we can. To this end, every student should be aware of the following:

1. Every student is assigned an advisor to help chart a path toward obtaining their academic goals in an efficient and effective manner.

2. Every faculty member is also an advisor, and advice can be sought from a faculty member even if they are not your advisor.

3. A Student can change their assigned advisor at any time for any reason.

4. If you do not know your advisor, are not assigned an advisor, or want to change your advisor, please visit your friends at Advising and Counseling or Enrollment Services.
