Music Technology
The Music Technology program at Shoreline Community College is designed to familiarize the student who is interested in music merchandising, audio engineering, Musical Instrument Digital Interface (MIDI) composition/production, and performance practice with the current trends of the profession.
Instrumental Music
Shoreline Community College offers the most comprehensive Instrumental Music Program among the state's community colleges. Offerings include large and small ensemble opportunities in classical, jazz and contemporary studies.
Choral/Vocal Music
Shoreline's music program is the right choice for talented singers graduating from high school or vocalists looking for performing experience and college credit courses. You will find a wide variety of vocal performance opportunities in Shoreline Community College’s vocal program - from solo recital, opera and musical theater, to choral ensembles.
Piano
Shoreline's distinguished piano faculty are devoted and successful teachers as well as active performers. Its six faculty members typically teach more than 30 private students and 150 students in Class Piano each quarter. The program has scholarships available for private lessons, regular scheduled Master Classes, quarterly student recital opportunities, and jury examinations for students enrolled in private lessons.
