Students must bring in their fall schedule of classes. Students do not have to prepare a vocal selection.The main emphasis is listening to vocal range, ear training and sight singing. Singers will also be given further advising.

Students who have formerly been a member of the Chamber Chorale do not have to audition for Chorale. All students interested in Shoreline Singers must audition. All new students interested in private voice instruction must audition

On Sept 13th, 2007 Jensina Byington was a soloist with The Orchestra of Southern Utah in their Talent Showcase Concert in the Heritage Center Theatre in Cedar City, Utah . She performed the Piano Concerto in G major by Maurice Ravel. Critics have praised Byington for her "steely-fingered" technique, as well as having a flair for "panache and drama".

Dr. Dainius Vaicekonis performed Rachmaninov's Second Piano Concerto, Op. 18 with the Butte Symphony Orchestra at the Mother Lode Theatre in Butte, Montana on Saturday, October 13th in their 2007-2008 season opening concert. Quoted from a previous review: "D. Vaicekonis' performance embraced a wide array of artistic resources - including strong technical agility, persuasive interpretation, aesthetical approach to sound, the discipline of nuances and dynamic range."
