Lawrence D. (Larry) Fuell

Larry is the Director of the Global Affairs Center (GAC) and Adjunct Professor of Political Science specializing in International Relations and Foreign Policy. Prior to joining Shoreline’s faculty in 2006, Larry served more than 20 years in the U.S. government, including as a Foreign Agricultural Affairs Officer in Peru, China and Guatemala. He has taught at Concordia College in Moorhead, MN, and at the University of Jos in Nigeria, and has traveled in Africa, Asia, Europe, and Latin America. Born in Cincinnati, Larry earned his B.A. degree at Miami University (Oxford, Ohio) and his PhD in Political Science at the University of Kentucky (Lexington, Kentucky).


Jonathan Peebles

Program Coordinator

Jonathan is a third year student at Shoreline community college. He graduated from Everett High School in Everett, Washington in 2014. He is currently in his last quarter of his associates transfer in political science. He wants to transfer to University of Washington get his bachelor's and master’s degree in political science. After getting his degrees he wants to teach politics. His interests in politics stems from reading and learning about it in his high school Government class. He loves learning about history and sees knowing past histories of nations as a way to understand their international politics in today’s world.


Cameron Houseman


Cameron earned a BA in Communication Studies from Iowa State University and is currently in his second year of Shoreline Community College’s Visual Communications Technology program. Feeling creatively inspired, he decided to return to school to pursue a career in graphic design. Cameron is most interested in working in the areas of packaging design, logo design, album artwork, and ad design. Before returning to school, he worked at Do206, Big Fish Games, and Tooth & Nail Records. Outside of the classroom, he enjoys playing the drums, taking advantage of Seattle’s vibrant art scene, and going for swims at Madison Park Beach.


Jonalyn Bocog


Jonalyn is a first year student at Shoreline Community College who graduated from Shorecrest High School in Shoreline, Washington in 2016. She is studying to become an aspiring filmmaker and hopes to transfer to the University of Washington to get her Masters Degree in Film Making and Production. She loves learning, sports, loves the music scene in Seattle and food. She always has a smile on her face so feel free to say hello when you see her around SCC!
