Supporting
the Ray W. Howard Library , Media and Technology Center
One
Brick at a Time!
The SCC Foundation raises funds
for the
Ray W. Howard Library / Media/ Technology Center through the sale of
personalized bricks. At the grand opening of the remodeled library in
September 2002, two columns of engraved bricks were unveiled.
Two additional columns to the entrance of the library/media center were
engraved September 2003. The commemorative bricks are engraved with donor’s
names, loved one’s names, favorite sayings and memorable events.

These bricks are now a permanent part of the columns at the entrance to the
library, on display for all to see.
In winter 2006 a few additional bricks were engraved,
this time outside the columns of the technology
center.

Additional engravings took place during spring break 2008.
These bricks can be viewed outside the technology
center at the lower entrance to the Ray W. Howard Library/Media/Technology
Center.
The most recent round of engravings was completed prior to the start of fall quarter 2009.
Deadline for the next round:
July 15, 2012
( Engraving time frame dependant on
weather conditions.)
