Description:

ESL students improve their academic listening and speaking skills to help them succeed in college classes. Students listen to and take notes on lectures and use course topics to practice speaking skills required in academic settings. Students also develop a larger academic vocabulary.

ESL students improve academic listening and speaking skills and develop a larger academic vocabulary. Prerequisites: Appropriate placement on the Advanced ESL Placement Test or concurrent enrollment in ESL level 5 or above. Student option grading.
