		I have been going to Shoreline for 5 years and I have basically taken all my courses on line, so this was no different. When I first started, the courses online were limited, but Shoreline has stepped up the pace to include more online, however, some of the other colleges are further advanced in online education.
		I used to live in shoreline and took classes at Shoreline community college.
		I have been in SCC for two years and I lived in Shoerline one year ago.

		I was talked into seeking out the SLPA program by a SLP. I had been rif at the school district and was encouraged to become a SLPA so that wouldn't happen to me again. I was also told that I would be a natural as a SLPA. Once I began seeking this out and got into the program I found out about the different classes I needed and how I could take them. Personally, I perfer the face-to-face interaction of a regular classroom, but I live too far for that. I do not enjoy spending time on the computer at all. I can do it, but much per fer the people interaction to the machine. It is very straining on my old eyes to sit in front of a computer for hours to complete class work. If I had the choice of in person vs. on-line I would perfer in person, however, I live too far away for that to be an option at Shoreline. If I could take these courses at Olympic College, I would have done that instead.
		I took an online class last year at SCC and loved it. It was very useful and with my busy life style I found it easy to do it on my own time.
